Silly little Steve/Bucky ficlet I posted to tumblr, inspired by a hilarious tumblr post ending with the following paragraph:

Also, my personal headcanon is that Steve once bet the shield in a hand of poker and Bucky won it. So it’s actually been Bucky’s shield since October 1944, Steve’s just borrowing it.

I've been sitting on this one for some, uh, months, because there's a sort of prequel to it that I wanted to post first, except that one turned out to be broken in some incredibly hard to fix ways, so I'm finally giving up and posting this while there's hopefully still people left in the fandom.
